Hearken unto me now therefore, O ye children, and attend to the words of my mouth. Let not thine heart decline to her ways, go not astray in her paths (Példabeszédek 7:24-25)
When we look at the spiritual meaning of these verses, the Father warns and commands us to listen to Him. He wants us to attend to His words, and live according to His Word. When the Word dwells in our heart and reigns in our live, we shall be a doer of the Word. By being a doer of the Word, we shall be able to stand in this world, and not succumb and be dominated by the spirits of the world.
The devil will always try to take you captive, and take you back into his kingdom. He has many tactics to mislead, tempt and seduce Christians. Many times he succeeds, because most Christians are carnal and live after the flesh.
But like Paul said: “for we are not ignorant of his devices” (2 Co 2:11)
When we keep His words and don’t leave His words, we shall be able to discern every temptation, and shall not fall into the snare of the devil. Ebből adódóan, don’t be led by your senses, érzelmek, vágyak, desires etc., don’t be led by what the world says. But be led by the Word, and by the Holy Spirit. Because then you shall be able to stand, and keep your heart from declining to the ways of the world, so that you shall not go astray in her paths.
