When the Holy Spirit descended from heaven and the disciples of Jesus Christ were filled with the Holy Spirit, they could no longer stay silent about Jesus the Christ, but they had to tell the Truth and call the people to repentance. Unlike today, where most Christians stay silent and barely preach Jesus the Christ, the Savior of mankind and call the people to repentance, but instead, they let the people remain in their sins and leave the people to their fate. On Sunday they confess their faith, but the rest of the week, they live in silence as undercover Christians. But if Christians stay silent, who shall set the captives of darkness free and who shall save the souls of man?
Who shall set the captives of the kingdom of darkness free if the truth is concealed?
The Bible is God’s Word and contains the truth, the life, and the power of God. The Bible is so powerful, that there is no other book in the world that is so controversial and even forbidden in some countries.
The devil fears the words of God, because the words of God are the truth. He knows that the Bible is the only Book, which exposes the lies of the devil and saves mankind from the power of sin and death, and reconciles mankind with God by faith and regeneration in Christ (a.o. John 3:3-8, Romans 3:23-24, 1 Corinthians 15:50-57, Colossians 2:9-15) .
Therefore the devil does everything in his might to keep Christians far away from the Bible and keep them ignorant and make them passive.
The devil distracts them with the cares, distractions, and things of this world and keeps them carnal, so that they’ll be focussed on themselves and walk after the flesh.
This way they shall not know the truth and will of God and stay silent about the Truth and the devil can keep his sons.
The devil has infiltrated in many churches and has deceived many and ensured that the true gospel, the will of God, and the walk after the Spirit are no longer preached and practiced. The truth has been replaced by half-truths, which are focused on the temporary carnal life on earth and ensure that people keep living in sin.
The boldness and the confronting hard words of Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit have been replaced by pleasant gentle humanistic words, which derive from the spirits of this world, and satisfy the carnal people and stroke their ego
But is this the will of God?
The will of God
I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour; Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth. For there is one God, and one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus; Who gave Himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time (1 Timothy 2:1-6)
Grace be to you and peace from God the Father, and from our Lord Jesus Christ, Who gave himself for our sins, that He might deliver us from this present evil world, according to the will of God and our Father: To whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen (Galatians 1:3-5)
For this is the will of God, even your sanctification, that ye should abstain from fornication: That every one of you should know how to possess his vessel in sanctification and honour; Not in the lust of concupiscence, even as the Gentiles which know not God (1 Thessalonians 4:3-5)
It is the will of God, that every man be saved and live holy. God doesn’t want any person to perish.
God didn’t create hell for man, but hell was created for the devil, and the angels, who followed their leader, the devil, and because of their disobedience to God, fell from their position, just like him.
However, after the fall of man from his position, things changed and the sons of the devil, who belong to him and listen to him and follow him, will go to the same destination.
This is not the will of God, but the choice of mankind, who chooses to listen, obey and follow the devil, the ruler of this world.
Preach the truth of the Kingdom of God
In order to prevent that many souls perish, Jesus commanded us to preach the truth of the Kingdom of God and call the people to repentance.
There are many people, who are prisoners of darkness and live in the bondage of darkness and are looking for deliverance. They do everything they can, however many times they search in the wrong places.
The worst thing is, that people, who say they believe and think they live in the Kingdom of God and are filled with the Holy Spirit and therefore should possess the Truth, and the Way to salvation and the Life, don’t help the people in need and don’t give them what they need, but instead, they direct them to the darkness; to people, who have taken the place of God and think they can help people with their human intellect and their carnal methods, technics and means.
Those, who say they believe, don’t trust in the Almighty God and His Word, but because they are carnal and see with carnal eyes, they trust in the world; in the worldly expertise of man, which is foolishness to God. Because the cause of the problems is not in the natural realm but in the spiritual realm.
Only someone with a higher authority than the rulers of the kingdom of darkness can help people and redeem and save people.
Jesus didn’t stay silent but preached the gospel
The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, because He hath anointed Me to preach the gospel to the poor; He hath sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, to preach the acceptable year of the Lord (Luke 4:18-19)
Jesus preached the Kingdom of God and called God’s people to repentance. Jesus walked in the Name of His Father; in His authority. There was no higher authority and no greater power than His authority and power.
God the Father has given all authority and power to His Son Jesus Christ and all those, who are born again, and have died and have been resurrected in Christ by the power of the Holy Spirit, and received the Holy Spirit, have all authority and power in Him on earth.
Then said Jesus to them again, Peace be unto you: as My Father hath sent me, even so send I you. And when He had said this, He breathed on them, and saith unto them, Receive ye the Holy Ghost: Whose soever sins ye remit, they are remitted unto them; and whose soever sins ye retain, they are retained (John 20:21-23)
They ought to do the same as Jesus and represent, preach and bring the gospel of the Kingdom of God to mankind, in the Name of Jesus Christ; in His authority and the power of the Holy Spirit (Matthew 28:18-19, Mark 16:15-18, Luke 24:47-49, John 20:21-23).
Who dares to speak the truth of God?
But who dares to walk according to the Word in the truth and who dares to speak the truth of God.
The truth of God is no longer considered as love. Because speaking the truth of God can cause indignation, fear, angriness, aggressiveness, and hate in people. People may feel hurt, offended, or attacked, and as a result, you no longer be loved, people can’t stand your presence anymore and don’t want to hang out with you and you will lose people.
But hard words are often necessary to wake people up, lead them to repentance, and save them from destruction and reconcile them with God. Because without the preaching of the truth, many souls will be deceived and not repent, but perish in silence.
You don’t win people by saying what people want to hear. Well, you win them for yourself but not for God. You only win people for God by preaching the truth of God and call them to repentance (Read also: ‘The call to repentance and ‘What is repentance?‘).
If Christians stay silent the access to the Kingdom of God will be prevented
Through regeneration, you are transferred from the kingdom of darkness, where the devil is lord and king, to the Kingdom of God, where Jesus Christ is Lord and King.
The Kingdom of God is the Kingdom of Heaven and is above the kingdom of darkness, the kingdom of the earth.
Jesus has given the keys of the Kingdom of God to His Body; the Church; the assembly of born-again believers, who have become sons of God.
The keys of the Kingdom not only represent authority, but also access to the Kingdom.
The believers have the keys of the Door to the Kingdom of God, Jesus Christ, and have the answer and solution for everyone.
However, the believers must stand up and speak out instead of remaining silent and go along with every wind of doctrine and submit to the spirits of this world and compromise (read also: ‘Are you bold enough to speak the truth?’).
Unfortunately, many souls don’t find the Door to the Kingdom of God and eternal life, because of silent Christians, who are afraid to speak out the truth, since telling the truth can ensure that they will no longer be loved by those, who belong to the world and be rejected (Read also: ‘Why the world hates Christians?‘)
They have not count the cost and are not willing to pay the price.
As long as Christians remain silent about the truth, the devil can continue his destructive work
They are more concerned about the flesh than the spirit. Because first of all, they want to please people and don’t want to be rejected or be considered a fool. Secondly, they don’t want to hurt people in their feelings and emotions, by telling them the truth. They want to prevent people, who live in sin, from feeling attacked, offended, hurt, fearful, angry, and become hateful and aggressive and walk away angry and/or turn away from them.
And so many remain silent about the truth of God, and compromise, and allow people to live in sin. They don’t tell them where their sins lead to and don’t give them what they really need.
As long as Christians stay silent about the truth, the devil can continue his destructive work undisturbed and as a result, many souls will remain living in the bondage of darkness and eventually go down into silence to hell.
