Are you consumed by your daily circumstances? Are you overwhelmed by negative thoughts or problems? Do you experience stress, worry, anxiety, fear, etc.? Do you experience chaos instead of peace? Are you looking for a way out, but you don’t know how to create order from chaos? Well, let me tell you, that God has not created you to be consumed by problems and daily circumstances. God didn’t create you to be controlled and ruled by the multitude of your thoughts. God has not created you to become overwrought, depressed, anxious, and fearful. But God created you to be united with Him and have a relationship with Him so that you’ll experience His peace in your life.
God has created you in Jesus Christ, to sit together with Him in the heavenly places. He wants you to walk in dominion and reign over the daily circumstances, problems, and thoughts. So that they won’t overwhelm you and make you restless and turn your life into chaos. It is the will of God that you will experience His peace in your life and that you will stay in His peace.
God turned chaos into order
The land was without form and void and darkness was upon the face of the deep. El Elohim (Jehovah God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit) created order in the chaos, which apparently was caused by the devil and his demons when they were cast upon the earth (read also: the battle in the garden). How did God create order?
God spoke the Word and called the things which were not, as though they were. By the power of the Holy Spirit, all things came into existence.
God created order and harmony. The light came and the darkness disappeared.
Everything was good, yes very good. Until man, who was perfectly created, became disobedient to his Creator; his Father, and sinned.
Adam listened and believed the words of the devil; the serpent, instead of the words of his Father. Because of that, Adam’s dominion; his position, and all his possessions were taken from him.
By the lust of the flesh (eating the forbidden fruit) Adam’s spirit died. Man exchanged his eternal life for death. By doing what God had forbidden him to do, his life became one big chaos:
- his relationship with God was taken from him
- his spirit died
- his dominion was taken from him
- his housing was taken from him
- his supplies were taken from him
- his eternal life was taken from him
- his son was taken from him
Adam’s life became one big chaos. By his disobedience to God, he submitted himself automatically to the devil. The words of the devil seemed so wonderful and promising. But God spoke the truth and not the devil. The devil only spoke half the truth, which isn’t the truth but a lie.
The mission of the devil is to steal, kill and destroy, and that became visible in Adam’s life.
The thief comes not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy (John 10:10)
Adam doubted God’s words
Adam doubted the liability of God’s words, and because of that he got himself in trouble and brought mischief upon himself.
The dominion that God had given to Adam, was taken from him. Adam turned it over to the devil. Therefore Adam and his offspring would live in bondage to the devil, sin, death, and hell.
The seed of Adam would carry this blood guilt and would be born as sinners.
But fortunately, God had already a new plan to create order in this chaos, by sending His Son Jesus Christ to the earth.
Jesus was sent to this earth, to preach and bring the Kingdom of God to the people. He was sent to destroy the works of the devil and to reconcile man back to God. He stayed obedient to God’s will and walked after His commandments.
When Jesus was crucified, Jesus took the blood guilt of fallen humanity (all sins and iniquities) upon Himself. So that every man, who would believe in Jesus Christ, would be reconciled to God and have a relationship with Him again. Jesus took the keys (the authority) from the devil, death, and hell, and gave them back to the new man, who would be born of water and of the Spirit of God.
The old man (the sinner) was affected by evil; by the devil. But the new man would be born of water and Spirit and would be made righteous and holy. The new man would have God’s nature living inside of him.
The devil turns the truth into a lie
Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever (Romans 1:25)
The devil always changes the words of God and turns the truth of God into a lie. He did this in the garden of Eden, he did this in the wilderness when he tried to tempt Jesus, and he still does it today.
The devil has not changed. Therefore his tactics are still the same and have not changed. He still changes the words of God, so that the believers, who don’t have any knowledge of the Word and don’t discern the spirits, are being tempted, seduced, and trapped into his lies. His words seem so godly, but they are not. He covers the truth with darkness.
Many believers are seduced by the lies of the devil. They believe his lies above the truth of the Word of God, just like Adam. They are trapped in the devil’s web and the devil causes chaos in their lives. The devil shall torment the believers until he has destroyed their lives. Because that’s his mission: to steal, kill and destroy. Unless the believer knows who he or she is in Christ and will fight back and stop him by speaking the Word of God.
Jesus creates order in chaos
Has the devil turned your life into one big chaos? Are you entangled in his lies and don’t see a way out anymore? Don’t let the devil keep you in bondage any longer. Come to Jesus (the Word), because Jesus alone is the Way, the Truth, and the Life and He alone can give you life and peace.
You can go to a psychologist, psychiatrist, etc. but they can’t help you. Only the Word; Jesus Christ, can give you a life of peace. When you have the peace of God, you can handle every situation.
Jesus gives life and peace
Come unto Me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you, and learn of Me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For My yoke is easy, and My burden is light (Matthew 11:28-30)
Jesus is the only One, Who can give you life and peace. Only the Word is able to pull down and destroy the lies, the wrong mindset, and the destructive thoughts that the devil has put into your mind and create order from chaos. But you have to take the word of God in your mouth to pull those strongholds down.
How do you create order from chaos?
1. Repent and turn to Jesus
Accept Jesus His blood sacrifice, and make Jesus Christ your Saviour and Lord. Be baptized in water and with the Holy Spirit.
When you lay down your old life that was affected by evil (sin and iniquity) and put on the new man, who is born in the spirit, by water and the Holy Spirit. You shall become the perfect creation, that God has promised and made.
2. Renew your mind with the Word of God
Only when you renew your old way of thinking (the way the world thinks; full of lies of the devil) with the Word of God. When you renew your mind with the Word of God, you shall find the truth and shall fill your mind with the truth of God.
When you renew your mind with the Word of God, you shall get to know His will, and you shall think the way He thinks.
3. Apply His words in your life and become a doer of the Word
When you renew your mind with the Word of God and apply the truth of God in your life, you shall walk after the Word and after the Spirit. You shall no longer walk the way you walked before you accepted Jesus Christ. But you shall put off the old man and put on the new man and walk as the new creation, who is created after the image of God.
You shall walk after the Spirit, in holiness and righteousness. You shall stay in His peace, and shall be able to handle every situation in your life.
4. Speak the Word and call those things, which are not as though they were
You can only speak the Word if you know the Word. When you know the Word and obey the commandments of Jesus, it is important to speak the Word. If you speak the words of God, then the Holy Spirit will empower your words.
If you have become a new creation, then you have the Holy Spirit living inside of you and therefore you have His power. Just look around you, and see all the things, that by the Word and the power of the Holy Spirit came into existence. That same power also lives inside of you. Therefore as long as your words are in agreement with the will of God, you can call those things which are not as though they were.
You are able to create order in the midst of chaos (just like God, Jesus, and the apostles, who became the new creation, did). Speak the Word; speak the life into situations, that seem dead. Take the Word of God in your mouth and speak to those thoughts and take them captive in Jesus Christ.
5. Keep standing on the Word and stay obedient to Him
Maybe this is the most difficult step for many people. Because what do you do, when you don’t see immediate results? What do you do when something doesn’t happen immediately or if things don’t go the way you wanted them to go? Do you stay obedient to Him, and do you keep standing on the Word? Or will you look for other solutions and methods? The solutions and methods of the world? If you really believe in His Word and that He is telling the truth, then you will keep standing on His Word, and not turn away.
As long as you stay obedient to Him and His commandments, and as long as you keep walking in His will, you shall experience peace, happiness, joy, gladness, etc. But you must be careful! Because as soon as you turn away from the Word, become disobedient, and begin to walk after your own opinions or the opinions of people; the opinions and findings of the world, then the chaos and turmoil will return in your life (Read also: ‘Not my opinion, but Your opinion‘).
If you become disobedient to Christ and His commandments, then by your actions you tell Him that He is a Liar. By your disobedience, you will trade the truth of God for the lies of the devil (just like Adam did). You will follow the one, who you believe is telling the truth. Therefore, in this case, you will follow the devil. The devil shall take away your peace, happiness, and joy and shall create chaos in your life.
God has given a free will to every man. He forces no one to come to Him and follow Him. You may come to Him, but it’s up to you if you really want to.
