In the past years, there have been a lot of discussions and debates about creationism and evolutionism, both inside and outside the church. Because of the scientific statement of the world that has derived from the carnal mind of man, who belongs to the world, the church slowly started doubting the truth of God’s Word that says, God is the Creator of the heaven and the earth and all there is within. They wonder, did God create the heaven and the earth in six days? Noma…
Carnal believers don’t want to look foolish or stupid
Ngeshwa, not many believers have crucified their flesh. Abazange laid down their own lives in Jesus Christ and still walk after the flesh. Ngenxa yalokho, they do matter what others think of them. They don’t want to be considered stupid or foolish, but they want to live just like the world and be liked and accepted by the world. Therefore many have adjusted and changed the Word of God to their own findings, opinions, and philosophies, which derive from a carnal mind and are influenced by scientific doctrines of man. This has caused many to have deviated from the Word of God.
Kodwa labo, who don’t believe and don’t stay true to the Word of God, but believe in evolution, which is a doctrine of man, don’t belong to God, because they don’t listen to Him and don’t walk in His way, but listen to the words of carnal people and have entered self-chosen ways.
Everyone believes
They may say, that they are Christians and that they believe in God and that their faith is a big part of their lives and gives them strength. But on what foundation is their faith build?
The devil and demons also believe in God. They believe that God exists, maybe even more than people, but they are not saved. Their eternal destination is the eternal lake of fire.
The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good (Ps 14:1)
Atheists also believe. They believe that God doesn’t exist. Everyone on this earth believes in something. Some believe that God exists, some believe that God doesn’t exist and some believe in plural gods or that man or even animals are gods.
A carnal faith
Kuyo yonke iminyaka, many Christians have slowly departed from the Word of God and have developed their own faith, which is influenced by the philosophies of man futhi izimfundiso zamadimoni and is mainly based upon the senses, imizwa, and emotions.
Ngeshwa, there are not many believers, who read and study the Bible by themselves through the Holy Spirit and accept and endure the pure truth of God’s Word. Because the pure Word is often hard and means submission to the Truth and a change of life(style) and not many are willing to submit to God and change their lives.
The spirit of autonomy reigns in many lives. Ngenxa yalokho, it’s not Jesus anymore, Who is their Lord and sits on the throne of their lives. But they have exalted themselves as gods and made themselves lords, who sit on the throne of their lives.
They don’t consider the Bible as the Truth anymore. But they have changed and adjusted the words in the Bible to the philosophies and findings of man, which derive from a carnal worldly mind.
Christians, who believe in evolution
There are many preachers and ministers, who preach from the Bible on Sundays, while they believe in evolution. Because they believe in evolution, they undermine and deny God as the Creator of the heaven and the earth? Many believers have become apostate from the faith and the Word, because they have not renewed their mind with the Word of God but instead, filled their mind with the knowledge, ukuhlakanipha, and truth of the world, through (scientific) television programs, izincwadi, news, omagazini, social media etc., which has caused them to doubt the Word of God.
KunamaKristu amaningi, who are born and raised in a Christian family and are traditional Christians. They go to church and pray before their meals and before they go to bed and occasionally read the Bible. They call themselves Christians and look like Christians from the outside, because of their humanistic behavior. But according to the Word, they think and live as enemies of the cross and are deniers of God. They confess God with their mouth, but their hearts don’t belong to Him, but to the world (Mat 15:8)
The Holy Spirit testifies of God, the Creator of the heaven and the earth
If someone claims to be born again, then the spirit of the person has been raised from the dead by the power of the Holy Spirit. The Spirit of God, Who dwells in the person, is the same Spirit of God, Who moved upon the face of the waters, while the earth was without form and void and when darkness was on the face of the deep.
The same Spirit is the Spirit of Truth, Who is a Witness of the Almighty God; the Creator of heaven and earth and all there is within and Jesus Christ; iZwi (Jn 14:17, Jn 15:26, Jn 16:13, Rom 8:9, 1 Co 2:12, 1 Co 3:16, 2 Co 1:22, 1 Jo 4:13, 1 Jo 5:6-8)
Ngakho-ke, if someone denies the Creator and adjust the Word to the wisdom and knowledge of this world, then that person doesn’t possess the Holy Spirit. Because God cannot deny Himself.
The Holy Spirit is a Witness of the creation and testifies of the truth, that God is the Creator of heaven and earth, and that He created the heaven and earth and all there is within in six days. That’s the Almighty God, Whom we serve! Nothing is impossible for Him.
O Lord, how great are Thy works! and Thy thoughts are very deep. A brutish man knoweth not; neither doth a fool understand this (Ps 92:5-6)
But as already discussed in the previous blog post: ‘Can the Bible and science go together?', an unspiritual man is not able to comprehend the truth of God and see the Kingdom of God. And that’s why an unspiritual man cannot understand how something can be created out of nothing.
UJesu wathi, that unless a person becomes azalwe kabusha, he cannot see nor enter the Kingdom of God (Jn 3:3-5). And because many believers are not truly born again, they are still carnal and sense ruled. They are carnally minded and therefore they live according to what their carnal mind, which is formed by the knowledge and wisdom of this world, qonda.
Ngokukholwa, you are able to understand the creation
The first work of faith that is described in Hebrew 11 is the creation. The Word testifies, that God is the Creator of the heaven and the earth and all its hosts.
Ngokukholwa siyaqonda ukuthi umhlaba wakhiwe ngezwi likaNkulunkulu, ukuze okubonwayo akwenziwa kokubonwayo (Heb 11:3)
Only when a person is born again, the person is able to believe that God has created by His Word and His power the heaven and the earth and all there is within.
If you say, that you believe in God and claim to be born again, then you believe the Word of God and believe that God has created the heaven and the earth and all there is within in six days.
If you don’t believe this, but instead believe what science is telling you and consider evolution not a foolish doctrine of man, but the truth, then you don’t believe in God and His words, but in the words of man.
By believing in the words of man above the words of God, you say that God is a Liar and that what is written in the Bible; His Word is not the truth, but a lie.
Is God the Creator of the heaven and the earth?
Despite what science says, the Word of God teaches us, that God is the Creator of the heaven and the earth and all there is within. Nowhere in the Bible is the big bang or evolution process of the earth, plants, trees, animals, abantu, njll. mentioned.
The Word testifies about God as the Creator and acknowledges that God has created the heaven and the earth and all there is within. Yebo, the Word even testifies that the creation itself testifies of God’s power and His Godliness. Ukuze, no one has an excuse, nini (s)he will stand before the throne of God on the day of judgment. No one can say, lokho (s)he didn’t know.
For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse (Rom 1:20)
This is the day which the Lord hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it (Ps 118:24)
Hezekiah prayed before the Lord, wathi, O Lord God of Israel, which dwellest between the cherubims, thou art the God, even Thou alone, of all the kingdoms of the earth; Thou hast made heaven and earth (2 Kon 19:15)
Thou, even Thou, art Lord alone; Thou hast made heaven, the heaven of heavens, with all their host, the earth, and all things that are therein, the seas, and all that is therein, and Thou preservest them all; and the host of heaven worshippeth Thee (Neh 9:6)
The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth His handywork (Ps 19:1)
By the word of the Lord were the heavens made; and all the host of them by the breath of his mouth. He gathereth the waters of the sea together as an heap: He layeth up the depth in storehouses. Let all the earth fear the Lord: let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of Him. For He spake, and it was done; He commanded, and it stood fast (Ps 33:6-9)
Ye are blessed of the Lord which made heaven and earth. The heaven, even the heavens, are the Lord’s: but the earth hath He given to the children of men (Ps 115:15-16)
My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth (Ps 121:2)
The Lord that made heaven and earth bless thee out of Zion (Ps 134:3)
Happy is he that hath the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope is in the Lord his God:
Which made heaven, and earth, ulwandle, and all that therein is: which keepeth truth for ever (Ps 146:5-6)
Let them praise the Name of the Lord: for He commanded, and they were created.
He hath also stablished them for ever and ever: He hath made a decree which shall not pass (Ps 148:5-6))
Nkosi, Thou art God, which hast made heaven, and earth, and the sea, nakho konke okukubo (IzEnzo 4:24)
We also are men of like passions with you, and preach unto you that ye should turn from these vanities unto the living God, which made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and all things that are therein (IzEnzo 14:15)
Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters (Rev 14:7)
(Funda futhi: 2Ki 2:12, Job 38-41, Ps 124:8, Isa 37:16)
Did God create the earth in six days or six thousand years?
Is the creation really created in six days as the Word of God says? Or is the creation created in six thousand years, as so many people say?
The people, who have come up with this statement and say, that it took God six thousand years to create the world, have not been standing on the truth of the Word of God, but allowed themselves to be influenced by the wisdom and knowledge of this world and tried to mix evolution with the Bible; the Word of God.
This statement and doctrine derive from a carnal mind, which cannot comprehend and believe that it took God just one day to create something out of nothing.
A carnal mind is not able to understand and comprehend, how you can call things, which are not as though they were, and bring something into existence from the spiritual realm into the natural realm. In order to uphold their philosophies and doctrines and their figural interpretation of the word ‘yôm’ they quote the following scriptures:
For a thousand years in Thy sight are but as yesterday when it is past, and as a watch in the night (Ps 90:4)
Kodwa, bathandekayo, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day (2 Pe 3:8)
But these two scriptures have nothing to do with creation but relate to the difference between how God considers time and how the natural carnal man considers time. Because God’s time is different than man’s time. In Psalms 90 it’s about the life of the natural man and in 2 UPetru 3:8 it’s about the promise of the return of Jesus.
The Word testifies, that God created the heaven and the earth in six days and that God rested on the seventh day:
Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them. And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made. And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made. These are the generations of the heavens and of the earth when they were created, in the day that the Lord God made the earth and the heavens (Gen 2:1-4)
Ngokuba ngezinsuku eziyisithupha uJehova wenza izulu nomhlaba, ulwandle, nakho konke okukubo, waphumula ngosuku lwesikhombisa: ngalokho uJehova walubusisa usuku lwesabatha, futhi wayingcwelisa (Ex 20:11)
Ngokuba ngezinsuku eziyisithupha uJehova wenza izulu nomhlaba, and on the seventh day He rested, and was refreshed (Ex 31:17)
How can light exist before the sun was created?
Many people have doubts about the authenticity, reliability, and trustworthiness of God’s Word because in Genesis 1 kulotshiwe, that the light and the day and night were created and existed before the sun, moon, and stars were created. But how can there be light without the sun?
Many people say, that this is impossible and therefore they say that the Bible is not true! Because the sun produces light. And if the sun was created on the fourth day, then how can the light and the day and night exist prior to the sun, moon, and stars? Therefore they’d rather believe evolution and consider evolution as the truth.
But wouldn’t it be great, if believers were just as passionate for the spiritual things of the Kingdom of God as scientists are in the natural realm and study and search the scriptures like scientists study and search?
The light, which God created on the first day is the light, which derives from Him. The light originates from God and not from the sun. God rules over the light and not the sun. Because God is the Light.
I am the Lord, and there is none else, there is no God beside Me: I girded thee, though thou hast not known Me: that they may know from the rising of the sun, and from the west, that there is none beside Me. I am the Lord, and there is none else. I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the Lord do all things (Isa 45:5-7)
God separated the light from the darkness and called the light: the day and the darkness: the night. The day and the night existed before the luminaries; the sun, moon and stars, were created.
When the heaven, the dry land; earth and the seas were created, it was time for the creation of the luminaries in the firmament of the heaven
God had already created the light and He already separated the day and night, but now He created and appointed luminaries, that would be responsible for the light on the earth.
The light and the day and night already existed, but now He gave the responsibility and authority to the sun, moon and stars. From the fourth day, they would be responsible for the light on the earth.
Just like God had given the responsibility and dominion to man over the earth and its host. God had finished the creation, but He delegated the responsibility and dominion to man (Gen 1:26-28, Ps 115:16)
The creation of the sun, moon, and stars on the fourth day
Thus saith the Lord, which giveth the sun for a light by day, and the ordinances of the moon and of the stars for a light by night (Jer 31:35)
On the fourth day, God created the sun, moon, and stars, and set them in the firmament of heaven, and commanded them to give light during the day and during the night. That was the commission, which God had given to the sun, moon, and stars (His creations). God made them responsible for the light.
From that day, they were responsible to make a separation between the day and night, to be for signs, and for seasons, and for days and for years, and to be lights in the firmament of heaven to give light upon the earth.
God gave the sun dominion to rule over the day and He gave the moon and stars dominion to rule over the night and to divide the light from the darkness. When God had created the sun, moon, and stars and had given dominion to them to give light and to rule over the day and night, God saw that it was good (Gen 1:14-19)
God is the Creator of the light and not the sun
The day is Thine, the night also is Thine: Thou hast prepared the light and the sun (Ps 74:16)
The light originates from God. The light is created by God and not the sun. The sun has not made the day and the moon and stars have not made the night. But God created the light and separated the light from the darkness. God made the day and the night and not His creations.
God gave the commandment to the sun to provide light on the earth, but the sun is created by God and therefore it is a creation of God and because of that, the sun may never be worshipped.
Maybe God created the light and the day and night before He created the sun, moon, and stars, to prevent people from thinking that the sun, moon, and stars are the givers of light and consider them god(s) and worship them, as happens in many pagan cultures.
God forbade His people, to worship the sun, moon, and stars. If a person would not keep His commandment and worship the sun, moon, and stars, then that person would be punished with the death penalty (Deu 4:19, Deu 17:3-5).
Despite the words and commandments of God, and despite His warnings, His people often wandered and entered the way of the pagan cultures and worshipped the sun, moon, and stars (2 Ki 23:5-5, 2 Ki 23:11, Ezk 8:16)
But the sun is not god and shall never be god, but the sun is a creation of God’s hand and will always be a creation of God. The sun is a witness of God and His greatness and majesty.
The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth His handywork. Day unto day uttereth speech, and night unto night sheweth knowledge. There is no speech nor language, where their voice is not heard. Their line is gone out through all the earth, and their words to the end of the world. In them hath he set a tabernacle for the sun, Which is as a bridegroom coming out of his chamber, and rejoiceth as a strong man to run a race. His going forth is from the end of the heaven, and his circuit unto the ends of it: and there is nothing hid from the heat thereof (Ps 19:1-6)
The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth His handywork (Ps 19:1)
He appointed the moon for seasons: the sun knoweth his going down (Ps 104:19)
God’s authority over the sun
When Joshua spoke to the Lord and commanded the sun and moon to stand still, they obeyed. In the behavior of Joshua, we see his faith in God, who commanded the creation of God to stand still, and God heard and answered the words of Joshua and the sun and moon obeyed and stood still (Jos 10:12-13, Hab 3:11).
Theologians say, that this has not really happened, but that it’s a metaphor. Scientists say, that this phenomenon was a sun eclipse. But by saying this, they undermine the Almighty God and His greatness and power.
The same thing applies to the sign, which God gave to Hizkia, that the shadow of the sun would go ten degrees backward from the stairs. And the sun obeyed the voice of God and returned ten degrees.
Behold, I will bring again the shadow of the degrees, which is gone down in the sun dial of Ahaz, ten degrees backward. So the sun returned ten degrees, by which degrees it was gone down (Isa 38:8)
The darkness
There will come a day, that the sun, moon, and stars won’t give their light anymore, due to the sins on the earth. The sins shall become so great on the earth, that the creation, including the sun, moon, and stars, will suffer.
This also happened when Jesus took all the sins of the world upon Him and sin triumphed over Him. This became visible in the natural realm by the darkness, that reigned over the earth from the sixth until the ninth hour (Mat 27:45, Mar 15:33).
Behold, the day of the Lord cometh, cruel both with wrath and fierce anger, to lay the land desolate: and He shall destroy the sinners thereof out of it. For the starts of heaven and the constellations thereof shall not give their light: the sun shall be darkened in his going forth, and the moon shall not cause her light to shine (Isa 13:9-10)
And when I shall put thee out, I will cover the heaven, and make the stars thereof dark; I will cover the sun with a cloud, and the moon shall not give her light. All the bright lights of heaven will I make dark over thee, and set darkness upon thy land, isho iNkosi uJehova (Ezk 32:7-8)
The earth shall quake before them; the heavens shall tremble: the sun and the moon shall be dark, and the stars shall withdraw their shining (Joe 2:10)
And I will shew wonders in the heavens and in the earth, blood and fire, and pillars of smoke. The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and the terrible day of the Lord come (Joe 2:30-31)
The sun and the moon shall be darkened and the stars shall withdraw their shining (Joe 3:15)
And it shall come to pass in that day, isho iNkosi uJehova, that I will cause the sun to down at noon, and I will darken the earth in the clear day (Amo 8:9)
Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken (Mat 24:29, Mar 13:24-25, Lu 21:25-26)
And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, futhi, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood; And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind (Rev 6:12-13)
And the fourth angel sounded, and the third part of the sun was smitten, and the third part of the moon, and the third part of the stars; so as the third part of them was darkened, and the day shone not for a third part of it, and the night likewise (Rev 8:12)
How can there be light without luminaries?
How can there be light without the sun, moon, and stars? God is not depended on the sun, moon, and stars. Because on the new earth and heaven, there will be no sun, moon, and stars. But God shall be an everlasting light and shall give the saints light.
The sun shall be no more thy light by day; neither for brightness shall the moon give light unto thee: but the Lord shall be unto thee an everlasting light, and thy God thy glory. Thy sun shall no more go down; neither shall thy moon withdraw itself: for the Lord shall be thine everlasting light, and the days of thy mourning shall be ended (Isa 60:19-20)
And there shall be no night there; and they need no candle, neither light of the sun; for the Lord God gives them light: and they shall reign for ever and ever (Rev 22:5)
Is man formed from the dust or transformed apes?
IBhayibheli lithi, that God has created man from the dust of the earth, after the image of God (El-Elohim; UNkulunkulu, iZwi, and the Holy Spirit). God created man from the dust of the earth and breathed His breath of life into his nostrils and man became a living soul.
Nokho, according to Mr. Darwin, man was not created by God, but man is a transformed ape. According to him, humans would derive from the same ape species like the orangutan, gorilla, and chimpanzee. The chimpanzee is the stage before the evolution to man. This doctrine is based on the fact, that a chimpanzee has a lot of similarities as man.
But how can a four-legged animal become a two-legged person? And if man would originate from this ape species, then why did not all orangutans, gorilla’s and chimpanzees evolve to man? If this statement would be true, how come that only one kind of ape species have been evolved and all the other ape species haven’t? And what about the other animals? Why haven’t they evolved in other creatures?
It’s amazing, what kind of influence and impact the words of one human being can have on whole humanity. An intellectual carnal person arises and spreads his lies; his own philosophies, which are based upon his own findings and reasoning.
Whether Mr. Darwin has annulled his doctrines before he died or not, is not important. It’s about what enormous impact his statements and doctrines have on modern natural science and what people do with his doctrines. Because natural science still believes in his words and still applies his doctrines and believe that humans have evolved from apes.
And because many people, who say they believe in God, are not born again and therefore unspiritual and still have a carnal mind, they believe the words of man above the words of God.
But the Word speaks against every statement on which evolution is built upon. Lithi iZwi, that all flesh is not the same flesh. And that’s why the flesh of apes can never become the flesh of humans.
All flesh is not the same flesh: but there is one kind of flesh of men, another flesh of beasts, another of fishes, and another of birds. (1 Cor 15:39)
The Word testifies, that God created man from the dust of the earth after the image of God:
And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. So God created man in His own image, in the image of God created He him; male and female created He them (Gen 1:26-27)
And the Lord God planted a garden eastward in Eden; and there He put the man whom He had formed (Gen 2:8)
And out of the ground the Lord God formed every beast of the field, and every fowl of the air; and brought them unto Adam to see what he would call them: and whatsoever Adam called every living creature, that was the name thereof (Gen 2:19)
And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. And it repented the Lord that He had made man on the earth, and it grieved Him at His heart. And the Lord said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth Me that I have made them (Gen 6:5-7)
Whoso sheddeth man’s blood, by man shall his blood be shed: for in the image of God made He man (Gen 9:6)
The Spirit of God hath made me, and the breath of the Almighty hath given me life. (Job 33:4)
Know ye that the Lord He is God: it is He that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are His people, and the sheep of His pasture. (Ps 100:3)
I will praise Thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are Thy works;
and that my soul knoweth right well. My substance was not hid from Thee, when I was made in secret, and curiously wrought in the lowest parts of the earth. (Ps 139:13-14)
At that day shall a man look to his Maker, and his eyes shall have respect to the Holy One of Israel (Isa 17:7)
Thus saith God the Lord, He that created the heavens, and stretched them out; He that spread forth the earth, and that which cometh out of it; He that giveth breath unto the people upon it, and spirit to them that walk therein (Isa 42:5)
II have made the earth, and created man upon it: I, even My hands, have stretched out the heavens, and all their host have I commanded (Isa 45:12)
I have made the earth, the man and the beast that are upon the ground, by my great power and by my outstretched arm, and have given it unto whom it seemed meet unto Me (Jer 27:5)

The Word of God
Yonke imibhalo iphefumulelwe nguNkulunkulu, futhi inenzuzo yokufundisa, ngokusola, ukuze kulungiswe, ukuze kufundiswe ekulungeni: Ukuze umuntu kaNkulunkulu aphelele, thoroughly furnished unto all good works (2 UThim 3:16-17)
Every word of God, which is written in the Bible are spiritual words and possess the life of God. Every word of God, that is being planted in the life of the believer shall, depending on the ground and nurture, bear fruit or not. The Bible is the spiritual Bread and Compass for the new man, who is born again in Jesus Christ, and leads the new man into the truth of God.
As soon as you deviate from the Word and leave the Word, and live after your own thoughts, amafilosofi, findings, opinions, imizwa, and experiences, you shall deviate from the grace and rely on your own insights, ulwazi, and wisdom, which are formed by the world. You shall not live by faith after the Word and preach the Word, but you shall preach and walk by faith in yourself; your knowledge, ukuhlakanipha, and ability.
At that time Jesus answered and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes (Mat 11:25)
Paul stood firm in the faith and preached Jesus Christ
Paul believed in Jesus Christ and stood firm in the faith. He didn’t compromise with the worldly wisdom and her philosophies, because he considered the wisdom and knowledge of this world as foolishness (1 Co 1:20). Ngokusho komhlaba, Paul was a skilled person. Nokho, when he had an experiential encounter with Jesus Christ, he laid down his earthly wisdom and knowledge and clothed himself with Jesus Christ and followed Him.
Paul had become a new creation and the Holy Spirit dwelled in him. He didn’t use all kinds of compelling words of man, but he came in the power of God and spoke His words with authority
When Paul was in Athens, some philosophers of the Epicureans and Stoicks were curious about his new doctrines. Paul was not intimidated and persuaded by them and their doctrines and didn’t leave his faith. But Paul preached Jesus Christ and His resurrection and because of his preaching of the cross, some of them came to the faith (IzEnzo 17:17-34).
The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom
The big difference between then and now is, that the prophets of the Old Testament and the apostles and disciples of Jesus in the New Testament had a fear (awe) kaNkulunkulu. Because of their fear of God, they possessed the wisdom of God. They acknowledged God as the Creator of the heaven and earth and all there is within and considered everything He had spoken and spoke as the truth.
They stayed loyal to Him, despite the persecution of people. Because if you study the Old Testament and the New Testament, then you notice that none of the prophets, apostles, and disciples, who were appointed by God and spoke His truth, were truly loved.
Hhayi-ke, they were loved if something needed to happen because they were in trouble, or if they needed, ukuphulukisa, a word of knowledge, wisdom regarding a certain matter or something else.
But as soon as a prophet, apostle or disciple came and spoke in the Name of God and confronted them with their behavior and called them to repentance or when they prophesied about a future event, that wasn’t positive, then suddenly they were not so loved anymore and were persecuted and imprisoned.
Some even were sentenced to death, just because they spoke God’s truth and prophesied in His Name. And the sad thing is, that they were often not commanded to keep silent and be imprisoned and killed by unbelievers; Gentiles, but by their own people.
This not only happened in the Old Testament, but also in the New Testament and it still happens (Mat 23:31, Lu 11:47, 1 Th 2:14-16).
Do you believe in the Word of God?
There are many more arguments against the doctrine of evolution. But if I would quote all the scriptures from the Bible and cite all the proof and arguments, it won’t help to persuade a natural carnal man with a carnal mind from this false doctrine.
It’s all about one thing and that is: do you believe in the Word of God? Do you believe that the Bible is God’s Word and represents Him? Do you believe that the Bible is the Truth? Because without faith it is impossible to please God. The flesh and the carnal mind are not able to believe. Because faith is a fruit of the spirit and not of the flesh.
Only the new creations, whose spirit is raised from the dead, are able to understand and believe the Bible; the Word of God.
Labo, who are born of God shall listen to His voice. Ngakho-ke, they shall listen to the Word and do what the Word tells them to do. They are born of God and believe that God is the Creator of the heaven and the earth and all there is within.
To all other people, the Bible is foolishness. Therefore they shall not listen to the words of the Bible. But they shall listen to the words of carnal man, who possess and represent the wisdom and knowledge of the world.
A carnal man, who is unspiritual belongs to the world. Therefore a carnal man shall listen to the world and believe what the world says. Since science is the knowledge of the world a carnal man believes what science says, including evolution.
Everyone has been given a free will. Therefore everyone is free to believe and do whatever (s)he wants. Everyone may make their own choice to believe in what the Bible says or what the world says. But one thing is clear, and that is that creationism and evolution cannot go together. It is either one or the other.
