A daily confession
A merry heart makes my countenance cheerful,
but by sorrow of the heart my spirit will be broken
A merry heart does good like a medicine,
but a broken spirit dries my bones
Pleasant words are as an honeycomb, sweet to my soul,
and health to my bones
I shall not die, but live and declare the works of the Lord
For the grave can’t praise You, death can’t celebrate You,
but the living shall praise You Lord, as I do this day
I will praise Thee, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made
into Your image
I thank you, for You are with me, You are on my side,
I will not fear; what can man do unto me?
You have not given me the spirit of fear,
but of power, of love and of a sound mind
There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear:
because fear has torment.
He that fears is not made perfect in love
I will love You, my Lord, my God, with all my heart, and with all my soul and with all my mind
I will love my neighbor as myself and yes, I shall also love myself
You have loved me, therefore I will also love my neighbor.
You dwell in me and Your love is perfected in me, therefore I shall love my neighbor
I will keep myself in Your love oh God, by building myself up
in my most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost
