Although people have always been drawn to the supernatural spiritual realm, in recent years, there has been a significant increase of interest in the supernatural and how to walk in the supernatural. More and more people open themselves for supernatural powers and (life)energy. They enter the spiritual realm by themselves; from their soul (flesh) in order to walk in the supernatural. Many people go to events and seminars, where supernatural manifestations and healings take place. They receive information and learn the technics, methods, and formula’s so that they can do the same. This does not only happen in the world, but also in many churches.
Follow preachers, who walk in the supernatural
Many believers are carnal. They’re carnally minded, think like the world and live after the flesh, just like the world. They are led by their senses and have, just like the world, a huge interest in the supernatural. They are focused upon signs, wonders, and spiritual manifestations. And because they are sense ruled, they are led by signs and wonders.
Many blindly follow (famous) preachers, apostles, evangelist and/or prophets, who do great signs and wonders and they feed themselves with their words and supernatural experiences, without knowing them personally and without knowing their lives.
There are many (well-known) preachers, apostles, evangelists, and prophets, who do great signs and wonders, while they live after the flesh and live just like the world.
They do and approve those things, which go against ir-rieda ta’ Alla.
They bear the fruit of the flesh and are friends with the world. How is this possible?
You would think, since they do great signs and wonders and supernatural manifestations take place and they use the Isem Ġesù, that this proves, that they are born again and are spiritual and therefore they do the things out of God. But do you have to be born again to walk in the supernatural and perform signs and wonders?
The old man can also perform miracles, signs, and wonders
The answer is: no! You don’t have to be born again to walk in the supernatural and perform miracles, signs, and wonders. There are many people, who are still the old man and live after the flesh but are very spiritual. They move in the supernatural; the spiritual realm and perform great miracles, signs, and wonders. Therefore, you don’t have to be born again and follow Jesus to walk in the supernatural and perform miracles, signs, and wonders.
Look at the magicians from Egypt, in Moses’ time, who also performed signs and wonders, while they didn’t know God and didn’t belong to Him (Exodus 7 en 8).
Simon the sorcerer also performed great signs and wonders among the people. The people even called him the impersonated power of God, while his magical arts didn’t derive from God and His Kingdom, but from the devil and the kingdom of darkness (Atti 8:9-11). Even the sorcerer Bar-Jesus (Elymas), who practiced magical arts and was a Jewish false prophet was not a child of God but a child of the devil. He was an enemy of righteousness and perverted the ways of the Lord (Atti 13:6-11).
Saul went to a woman, who had a familiar spirit and operated in the spiritual realm. She divined unto Saul, by the familiar spirit and brought up Samuel to inquire him (1 Sam 28:3 20). And there were many more people, who possessed a familiar spirit and operated in the supernatural; the spiritual realm and revealed those things, which were hidden (i.e. 2 Kings 17:17, Jeremiah 14:14, Ezekiel 13:6-7; 21:21-23, Atti 16: 16).
There were many prophets, who seemed godly and stood in the eyes of man in God’s service, but prophesied after their own insights out of their flesh; their soul (their feelings and will), instead of God and His Spirit and therefore the falsely prophesied (i.e. 1 Kings 22, 2 Kronaki 18, Jeremiah 27:9, 28 U 29, Lamentations 2, Ezekiel 13: 17-23, 22:28. Aqra wkoll: ‘How do you recognize false prophets in our age?’).
Unbelievers, who walk in the supernatural
And nothing has really changed, because in our age there are still many people, who are not born again but operate in the supernatural; the spiritual realm. Take for example witches, psychics, fortune tellers (false prophets), shamans, witch doctors, magicians, illusionists, wizards, spiritual yogis, whisperers, ghost charmers, hypnotists, magnetizers, paranormal healers, who use quantum touch, reconnective healing, reiki, acupuncture, aura healing, self-healing and so on.
All these people are not born again. But they possess devilish occult powers or occult (life)energy to perform miracles, signs, and wonders. They enter the spiritual realm out of their soul (flesh), by using natural techniques and methods and open themselves for evil powers.
They exchange their soul for supernatural insights and wisdom, coming from spirit guides, and for supernatural powers and forces, that result in an increase of worldly wisdom, and by performing miracles, signs, and wonders, including psychical and mental healings.
Take for example reconnection or reconnective healing, which is very popular among people nowadays and spread rapidly around the world. Everyone can learn how to use reconnective energy and become a reconnective healer by applying certain methods and technics. This way of healing gets a lot of results; many people are being healed through reconnective healing. But everything, that is done by the flesh is not from and out of God. Everything that is done out of the flesh; the soul in the supernatural; the spiritual realm is occult.
Dawk, who get involved with these occult practices, even when some of these forms of alternative medicine are accepted, approved and offered in the western world and medical science as a way of healing, shall experience the influence of evil demonic spirits in their lives and will reap the fruits thereof.
Remember, that in the new age movement, which has its roots in the occult, there is a strong emphasis on healing and their agenda is to incorporate alternative healing methods and the spiritual into medical science (Aqra wkoll: ‘New age in the church’).
Jesus warned His disciples for false Christs and prophets
For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect. Ara, I have told you before (Mattew 24:24-25, Mark 13:21-23)
Jesus warned His disciples for false Christs U false prophets, who would perform great signs and wonders in the end time and if it were possible, would deceive the very elect. Jesus instructed them to not be focused upon the signs and wonders of a person. Because if they would be focused upon signs and wonders, they could easily be led astray from the true gospel.
Jesus told them, to look at the person’s life and what fruit the person bears. Does the person live after the spirit and after the rieda ta’ Alla, which is written in the Word and does the person bear the fruit of the Spirit? Or is the person carnal and lives after the flesh? Does the person live after his/her own will and insights and the will of the world? And bears the fruit of the flesh? (Mattew 7:15-20)
John instructed to not believe and trust every spirit. But he instructed to prove and test the spirits, whether they are of God. Because many false prophets have gone out into the world (1 John 4:1).
Therefore, don’t be focused upon signs and wonders, but be focused upon Jesus Christ; the Author and Finisher of your faith.
If you are born again and have laid down your own life and follow Jesus, then you will no longer be focused upon signs and wonders and upon people, who do great signs and wonders and allow people to honor and exalt them. But you shall be focused upon the Word.
From your personal relationship with Jesus you shall live after His will. This means that you shall walk in obedience to Him and do His commandments in your life. If you live after the spirit and after the Word and the Holy Spirit, then the signs and wonders shall follow you.
When the signs and wonders are done by the power of God and out of the spirit, then these will testify of Jesus Christ and exalt Jesus and give glory to the Father, instead of yourself.
