Lust not after her beauty in thine heart; neither let her take thee with her eyelids (Maahmaahyo 6:25)
Sometimes, certain things may seem so appealing, wonderful and good, but the truth; hadalka ilaahay, tells us something else. Now, it is all about: are you being led by your senses or by the Word of God.
The only truth on this earth
The Word is the only truth on this earth. It’s the only truth you will find in your life. Only by the Word, the truth will be revealed to you and you will have the ability to make a decision and walk in the truth.
Don’t be tempted or seduced by your senses. Because your senses lie and want to lead you into sin.
The flesh always wants to sin, because the devil is the father of the flesh. Every emotion and feeling in the flesh will try to tempt and mislead you, so that you will become disobedient to God’s will and sin. Sidaa darteed, you can never rely on your flesh.
As long as you stay obedient to the Word, you shall walk in Christ after the Spirit. You shall walk on the path of the righteous, that will lead you to eternal life.
There will be temptations in your life. But as long as you keep walking in the Word after the Spirit, you shall be able to resist the temptations and not give in and sin.
Don’t lust after her beauty
Don’t lust after the things of the world, even if they seem so wonderful and appealing to you. The Word warns you to not lust in your heart, after the things of the world. Because when you give into it, you shall sow lust. When you sow lust in your flesh, you shall eventually reap perdition.
