Why should you always be giving thanks unto the Father

Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light (Bakolose 1:12)

When you get to know God’s will and walk according to His will, you will walk worthy of the Lord. You will be fruitful in every good work. Your knowledge of God will increase. You will be strengthened with all of His might, according to His glorious power, unto all patience and longsuffering while you being joyful, giving thanks to the Father.

Why you should be giving thanks unto the Father

Every day you should be thankful, for all that the Father has done and for all the things that He has given you. God has made a way, bakeng sa bohle, to come to Him and be reconciled with Him, and become a son of God. Modimo has given His only Son, Jesu Kreste, so that through- and in Him, many more sons would be born.

God sowed His Son and reaped (and still reaps) many sons, who are born again in the spirit, by the power of His Holy Spirit. Isn’t that wonderful!

When you have become a son of God, you have become a partaker of the inheritance of the saints in the light. You have received His Holy Spirit and His Word. Jwale, you can walk in the inheritance of the saints in the sphere of the light.

I will put My law in their inward partsGod has given you everything! He has given you all things to become like your Lord Jesus Christ and to walk like Him (Oh. Johanne 14:12-13, Baroma 8:2).

Ka hona, you should be giving thanks unto the Father, instead of complaining about your problems and that things don’t go according to your will or your plans.

Hopola, God hates complaining and murmuring.

When God redeemed His carnal people from the bondage of Pharaoh from Egypt and gave His people everything they needed, the people were still not satisfied and kept complaining and murmuring all the time. And you know how God felt about that and what happened to them, don’t you? (Bala hape: ‘Teboho ya bara ba Modimo‘).

How long shall I bear with this evil congregation, which murmur against Me? I have heard the murmurings of the children of Israel, which they murmur against Me. Say unto them, As truly as I live, saith the Lord, as ye have spoken in Mine ears, so will I do to you: Your carcases shall fall in this wilderness (Numbers 14:27-29)

Neither murmur ye, as some of them also murmured, and were destroyed of the destroyer (1 Korinthe 10:10)

Stop complaining and be giving thanks unto the Father in your situation

Therefore stop complaining about your problems to God and/or to other people. Complaining won’t solve the problem. Instead, speak to the problem and tell it what you want it to do. In the meantime, no matter what situation you are in or what problem you are facing, you should always be giving thanks unto the Father, for all that He has done. He has given you everything, in Christ Jesus, to be an overcomer. This inheritance is so precious.

How do you know what you have been given and inherited? If you are curious about what exactly it is, what you have inherited, then the only thing you have to do is to open the Word of God.

When you open, read and study the Word of God, then you will find out, who you really are in Christ, and what you have been given in Him (Bala hape: ‘O mang ka nnete? le ‘God’s Word brings victory in battle).
