Was Jesus fully Human?

Was Jesus fully Human? There are people, who say, that the blood of Jesus was divine because the blood derived from His Father. Therefore Jesus was holy and righteous and wasn’t affected by sin. Some even doubt Jesushumanity. They say, that Jesus couldn’t sin, because Jesus was God and not Man. But are these statements true? If the blood of a child derives from the father, then shouldn’t every person, have the same blood type as his or her father? But the truth is, that we don’t have the same blood type as our father. The blood of a fetus has its own type of blood, which is formed by the building stones of the mother (ovum) and the building stones of the father (sperm cell). I can continue with all kinds of scientific proofs, but since the wisdom of the world is foolishness to God, and the Word of God is the truth, I would rather look at what the Bible says about Jesus Christ’s Humanity. Only through the Bible, we can find out whether Jesus was fully Human or not.

The Seed was holy

God spoke about the seed of man, which was corrupted by evil. Alla didn’t say, that the blood was corrupted by evil, or that the blood of the woman would bruise the head of the serpent; Ix-Xitan. God spoke about the Seed, Who would bruise the head of the devil.

seed

Jesus couldn’t be born from the seed of man. Because the seed of man was corrupted by evil and carried sin and death. The Seed had to be holy and righteous. Therefore, God was the only One, Who could provide this Seed.

And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel(Ġenesi 3:15)

The Seed has bruised the head of the devil, which means that Jesus has dethroned the devil of his place, and has taken all his authority and power; the keys.

That’s why the devil tries to remove the Seed from the Word of God and replace it with other words, like offspring.

The devil tries everything to eliminate the importance of the Seed. He tries to replace the truth with partial truths. He causes the believers to be led astray, by all kinds of false and misleading doctrines, and by adjusting and twisting the Word of God.

But everything that lives, has its origin in the seed.

Jesus became fully Human

Jesus flesh and blood

If the blood of Jesus Christ derived from God then Jesus wouldn’t be fully human. If Jesus wasn’t fully human, He wouldn’t be a Partaker of man and equal to man. As written before, the evil of man is not in the blood, but in the seed. Jesus had to become equal to man, otherwise, He couldn’t represent humanity and become the Lamb of God, Who was slain for humanity.

If Jesus wouldn’t be equal to man, Jesus couldn’t take the sins and iniquities of the world upon Himself and carry them away.

Only by becoming fully human, Jesus could become a Substitute for fallen man.

By becoming a Substitute Jesus could take the sinful nature of fallen man upon Himself. Biex b'hekk, the fallen man, would be redeemed from this sinful nature, which carries the death.

When Jesus took all the sins and iniquities of fallen man upon Himself, Jesus was made sin and therefore Jesus could legally enter Hades and dethrone the devil and death.

If Jesus’ blood was divine blood from the Father then Jesus wouldn’t be fully Human. But Jesus came to this earth in a flesh and therefore He also had the same blood as man:

The Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth(John 1:14)

Jesus became a Partaker of flesh and blood

Sa fejn it-tfal huma partakers tal-laħam u d-demm, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, F'kelma waħda, Ix-Xitan; U jeħlishom li minħabba l-biża' tal-mewt kienu ħajjithom kollha soġġetti għall-jasar. For verily he took not on him the nature of angels; but he took on him the seed of Abraham. Wherefore in all things it behoved him to be made like unto his brethren, that he might be a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God, to make reconciliation for the sins of the people. For in that he himself hath suffered being tempted, he is able to succour them that are tempted (Ebrajk 2:14-18)

This part clearly tells us, that Jesus became a Partaker of flesh and blood and became equal to man. Biex b'hekk, He could become our High Priest. Jesus suffered and was tempted, just like man. But Jesus did not sin, but Jesus stayed obedient to His Father.

Nor yet that he should offer himself often, as the high priest entered into the holy place every year with blood of others; For then must he often have suffered since the foundation of the world: but now once in the end of the world hath he appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself (Ebrajk 9:25-26)

If Jesus His blood was divine blood from the Father, then He would have other blood than man, and not equal blood. Nowhere in the Bible, does it say that the blood of Jesus was divine blood from the Father. The Bible only refers to the blood of Jesus and the power of the blood of Jesus. Jesus was holy and righteous.

Man is made of flesh and blood

Divine blood doesn’t exist. Because flesh and blood cannot inherit the Kingdom of God. God is Spirit and His Kingdom is a spiritual kingdom. Therefore, if there would be divine blood, then blood could inherit the Kingdom of God. But blood is part of humanity.

Man is made of flesh and blood and has nothing to do with the Spirit, nor the Kingdom of God. Jesus said:

And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven (Mattew 16:17)

Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say uno thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. (John 3:5-6)

Paul said to the saints of the church of God in Corinth.

Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption (1 Korintin 15:50)

What does communion mean?

Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you. Whoso eat my flesh, and drink my blood, has eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day. For My flesh is meat indeed, and My blood is drink indeed. He that eats my flesh, and drinks my blood, dwells in Me, and I in him. As the living Father has sent Me, and I live by the Father: so he that eats Me, even he shall live by Me (John 6:53:57)

Old man is crucified in Christ

When we eat the bread (His flesh) and drink the wine (His blood), we become partakers of Him and stay in Him. We become partakers of the death of the old carnal creation; il-laħam.

The bread makes atonement for the body, and the blood makes atonement for the soul. Because the soul (life) of the flesh is in the blood

For the life of the flesh is in the blood: and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that makes an atonement for the soul (Leviticus 17:11).

Communion symbolizes the redemption of the old creation, and its sinful nature, in Jesus Christ. And by His sacrifice; bid-demm Tiegħu, we have received eternal life as the new creation.

By becoming a partaker of His body and His blood, we are united with Him. We remember, that Jesus took all our iniquities of the body and our sins of the soul upon Himself. But Jesus could only do this if He was equal to man and fully human.

The spirit of the antichrist doesn’t confess, that Jesus has come in the flesh

Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confess that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God: And every spirit that confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world (1 John 4:1-3)

Works Jesus Christ

The devil tries to seduce and convince believers, by using all kinds of lies and twisting the words of God into lies.

One of the lies the devil uses is, that Jesus came as God and was not fully Human.

The devil tries to convince believers, that Jesus wasn’t fully Human and equal to man. He tries to convince believers, that Jesus wasn’t a Partaker of flesh and blood, but that Jesus was divine.

Therefore, many believers say: Well, but Jesus was God, and therefore Jesus walked without sin. We don’t have that power, and we can never become like Him.”

But this is also a big lie from the devil and makes most believers passive.

Power to become the sons of God and become like Jesus

If people don’t know the Bible, then they will adopt all these lies from people. Only by getting to know the Word, you will find out the truth and the lies of the devil. First of all, it is written that:

As many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God (John 1:12-13)

These are the born-again believers, who are born of God; of water and Spirit, and walk after the Spirit.

Secondly, Jesus said Himself:

The disciple is not above his Master: but every one that is perfect shall be as his Master (Luqa 6:40)

Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believes on Me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto My Father. And whatsoever you shall ask in My Name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son (John 14:12-13)

Jesus is the Firstborn of the new creation; the new man, therefore He is our Example

Jesus came to this earth as Man; flesh and blood. He was the Son of God (spirit) but became the Son of man (flesh and blood).

Maria became pregnant by the power of the Holy Spirit. Jesus was conceived by the Seed of God, instead of the seed of man. Therefore, Jesus wasn’t affected by evil; sin. Jesus wasn’t born in sin and wasn’t born as a sinner, therefore Jesus didn’t carry death, but life in Himself.

The spirit of Jesus wasn’t dead, but alive. Because when Adam sinned and evil entered, the spirit of Adam died, and Adam became a living soul. Jesus wasn’t corrupted by the evil seed of man, He carried the life in His spirit, and not the death in His flesh.

The spirit of Jesus wasn’t dead, but alive. Adam was a living soul, but Jesus was a living Spirit. Ġesù kien il- first new Creation; the new Man, Who has a spirit, soul, and body. Jesus was holy because Jesus walked after the Spirit and not after the flesh. Jesus could have walked after the flesh, imma Ġesù ma għamilx.

Ġesù’ spirit was divine and connected with God. Just like the spirit in the ħolqien ġdid; the new man. But Jesus’ soul and body were fully Human.

After Jesus was baptized with the Holy Spirit and overcame the temptations of the devil in the wilderness, Jesus preached and brought the Kingdom of God, by the power of the Holy Spirit, to God’s people and called the people to repentance.

Jesus walked in the power of the Holy Spirit

Jesus performed all the miracles, signs, and wonders by the power of God; the power of the Holy Spirit, not by His own power. He was fully Human, operating by the power of the Holy Spirit.

You men of Israel, hear these words; Jesus of Nazareth, a man approved of God among you by miracles and wonders and signs, which God did by Him in the midst of you, as ye yourselves also know: Him, being delivered by the determinate counsel and foreknowledge of God, you have taken, and by wicked hands have crucified and slain (Atti 2:22-23)

That word, I say, ye know, which was published throughout all Judaea, and began from Galilee, after the baptism which John preached; How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him (Atti 10:37-38)

Could Jesus sin?

Could Jesus sin? Yes, Jesus had the ability, just like Adam, to become disobedient to the will of God and to His commandments. Therefore, Jesus had the ability to sin. If Jesus gave in to the temptations of the devil and the temptations of the flesh, during His life on earth, then Jesus would have sinned, just like Adam. If He would have sinned, then death would have entered His life and His spirit would have died. Yes, if Jesus would have sinned, then Jesus would have become a living soul, just like Adam.

But the love, that Jesus had for His Father, was bigger than any temptation. Jesus resisted all the temptations of the devil, and the carnal temptations, because of His great love for His Father. Jesus didn’t consider himself important, but His Father. Therefore, He only had one purpose, to exalt His Father, and glorify Him, by executing His plan upon this earth.

Jesus laid down His Divinity and became fully Human

When people say, that Jesus couldn’t sin, they lie. Because it is writtenFor we have not an High Priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin (Ebrajk 4:15)

Ġesù sar dnub

When Jesus came to this earth, Jesus laid down His Divinity and became equal to man.

Because as I wrote before, otherwise Jesus couldn’t have taken the sins and iniquities of man and the sinful nature of man upon Himself, so that man would be redeemed from this evil sin nature.

Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: But made Himself of no reputation, and took upon Him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: And being found in fashion as a man, He humbled Himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross(Philemon 2:5-8)

Jesus had the power to manifest Himself as God

Jesus had the power to manifest Himself as God and do all things in His own power. But if He would have done that, imbagħad, first of all, He wouldn’t be a Partaker of man, and wouldn’t be equal to man. Secondly, His sacrifice would be worthless.

That’s why the devil tried to tempt Jesus to sin, by manifesting Himself as Son of God. Every time he said: “if you really are the Son of God….” But Jesus knew that if He would prove Himself as Son of God and used His own power, then He would have been God and no longer Man. Jesus had to stay humble and work together in union with God the Father and the Holy Spirit.

Throughout His life, Jesus stayed humble. He knew the will of His Father and He overcame the devil in the wilderness by the power of His words; the Word of God. But He stayed Human.

During His trial, and before He went to the whipping post, He was tempted. Even when Jesus was crucified and hung on the cross, the devil tried to tempt Him, by using His Divinity and proving that He was God, by, for example, commanding the angels to redeem Him from the situation.

Jesus became separated from His Father

But Jesus kept silent… and stayed fully Human. He was tortured and crucified as Man and not as God. At the cross, He was even separated from His Father. Because He carried all the sins and iniquities of the world. Only by staying fully human, He could take the sins and iniquities; the evil sin nature of man upon Himself, and redeem those, who believe in Him.

What's the difference between the sacrifice of animals and the sacrifice of Jesus Christ

Jesus took the sinful nature upon Himself and was made sin. The wages of sin is death, and therefore He legally entered Hades. After three days, Jesus was risen from the dead, by the power of the Holy Ghost, not by His own power.

Although He could have used His own power. But Jesus trusted His Father and fully relied upon Him.

Whom God hath raised up, having loosed the pains of death: because it was not possible that he should be holden of it (Atti 2:24)

This Jesus hath God raised up, whereof we all are witnesses (Atti 2:32)

Alla, Ġesù, and the Holy Spirit were One and operated as One. If Jesus had used His own power then He would have been God and not Man. Jesus was the Son of God (spirit) and the Son of man (flesh and blood).

Jesus became a Son of man, so that through Him, man could become sons of God

Jesus had to become a Partaker of human nature and become fully Human. Jesus became the Son of man, so that through Him, man could become a Partaker of Him, and become a new creation; son of God.

For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren. Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified (Romans 8:29-30)

And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him: Where there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcision nor uncircumcision, Barbarian, Scythian, bond nor free: but Christ is all, and in all (Kolossin 3:10-11)

Therewith bless we God, even the Father; and therewith curse we men, which are made after the similitude of God (James 3:9)

Seeing you have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that you love one another with a pure heart fervently: Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which lives and abides for ever (1 Peter 1:22-23)
