What does Proverbs 3:24 mean, When thou liest down, thou shalt not be afraid: yes, thou shalt lie down and thy sleep shall be sweet?
When thou liest down thou shalt not be afraid
When thou liest down, thou shalt not be afraid: yes thou shalt lie down, and thy sleep shall be sweet(箴言 3:24)
If you walk with the Lord and walk in His wisdom and stay in Him, you shall not be afraid. You shall not be afraid of circumstances and of the things that are going on in your life. Neither shall you be afraid of the future.
You shall not be afraid and be overwhelmed by the thoughts that enter your mind and run through your mind, accusing you and/or trying to take you captive in fear.
But if you know the Lord and walk with Him, you shall not be worried but you shall experience the peace of God in your mind and your life (另请阅读: How do you experience the rest and peace of God?).
You shall have the peace of God, 这超出了所有人的理解, and shall keep your heart and mind through Christ Jesus.
When you submit to God and take the Word of God, renew your mind with the words of God, 默想上帝的话语, and apply the words of God in your life, 你要留在神的话语中.
只要你留在神的话语中, you shall stay in Christ and the peace of God will dwell in you.
Thou shalt lie down and thy sleep shall be sweet
You shall have nothing to be afraid of. You shall not be afraid of the arrow that flies by day, nor shall you be afraid by the terror at night, because you dwell in the secret place of the Most High and the Holy Spirit abides in you.
When you go to bed at night and lie down, your sleep shall be sweet. Your mind is under the control of the Word and the Spirit, therefore there will be no more thoughts running through your mind, causing fear and worry (另请阅读: 守护你的心).
No matter what happens around you or what happens in your life, your sleep shall be sweet because the peace of God abides in you and you shall sleep in His peace
