How many times do Christians sing that they thirst for more of Jesus and more of the Holy Spirit. But is this Biblical? What does the Bible say about drinking from the living water? The Scriptures says, that if anyone comes to Jesus and believes on Him and drinks from the living water, (s)he will no longer thirst:
In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto Me, and drink. He that believes on Me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water(But this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet given; because that Jesus was not yet glorified (John 7:37-39)
Jesus answered and said unto her, Whosoever drinks of this water shall thirst again: But whosoever drinks of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life (John 4:13-14)
Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to Me shall never hunger; and he that believes on Me shall never thirst (John 6:35)
Your thirst is quenched and your hunger is stilled
From the moment you believe in Jesus Christ as the Son of God and accept Jesus as Saviour and Lord, you will no longer thirst nor hunger.Because Jesus says in John 4:14 SY 6:35, that if you come to Him, you will never hunger or thirst anymore. You have been made complete in Him and therefore you are full of Him.
When you have found Jesus, you have found what you have been looking for. Therefore your thirst is quenched and your hunger is stilled.
How can you still be thirsty if Jesus says and promises that out of your belly shall flow rivers of living water? If rivers of living water shall flow out of you, it means that the well of living water is within you. Therefore you shall not lack living water but shall be fulfilled.
When you still thirst and hunger, you could ask yourself the question: “have I found the real Jesus Christ or a replica Jesus? Do I drink from the right source or not?
The way to get to know Jesus

When you come to Jesus and become born again in Him, He will give you the gift of the Holy Spirit. This will happen by the baptism with the Holy Spirit. When you receive the baptism with the Holy Spirit, the Holy Spirit dwells in you.
This is the only time, that the Holy Spirit comes from the outside to the inside. Nanomboka tamin'izay fotoana izay, the Holy Spirit dwells in you and you will walk with Him.
The well of living water
Jesus describes Himself as the Well of living water. Jesus says in verse 37, that if a man is thirsty, he should come to Jesus and drink of Him.The Holy Spirit is described as the living water: “out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water”.
The Holy Spirit dwells in you, whereby you have become a source of living water.
When you Havaozy ny sainao with the Word, your mind will line up with the Spirit and out of you will flow rivers of living water.
When your mind (fanahy) is renewed, your mind is no longer carnal and your reasoning shall no longer stop the Holy Spirit from flowing out of you. Because your mind thinks like the Word of God.
It is written: out of your belly shall flow rivers of living water.
When you are born again in Jesus Christ, you have become an ambassador of the Kingdom of God. You have become a representative of Jesus Christ on earth.
As Jesus says, if you drink of Him; the living water, you will also, give living water to the people, who are thirsty.
Rivers of living water shall flow from you
Don’t send people away and don’t advise people, who are in need and need help on Wednesday, to visit church on Sunday. But give what you have and give from the living water right then. You have everything that the person needs, living on the inside of you: Fanahy Masina.
Ary noho izany, you have to acknowledge and know, Who lives inside of you. When you know, Who dwells inside of you, you shall be a doer of the Word and you shall be a distributer of life and give to the people, who need it. Just like Jesus.
Jesus gave, and gave and kept giving and never run out of it. Jesus never send a person, who was in need away and never told a person to go to the Synagogue for help. But Jesus gave immediately, what the person needed.
Jesus came in the Name of His Father and worked together with the Holy Spirit. He was the Word that was made flesh and in the authority of His Father and the power of the Holy Spirit He did the works.
Don’t resist the Holy Spirit and don’t stop the work of the Holy Spirit. All you need to do, is to submit yourself to Him and work together with Him. Freely you have been given the Holy Spirit, so freely give life to the people.
