Í fyrri bloggfærslum, biðin eftir fyrirheiti Jesú’ Rætt var um skil og hvaða merki skuli eiga sér stað á endatímum. Í Matthew 24, Jesús talaði við lærisveina sína um endalok tímans, fyrir endurkomu hans. Jesús minntist á hvaða tákn munu eiga sér stað.
Jesús minntist ekki aðeins á táknin, en Jesús varaði líka lærisveina sína við, for the many deceptions that shall take place at the end of the last days (Lestu líka: How do you recognize false prophets in our time?, ‘Doctrines of devils are killing the Church‘, the occult church, og New age in the church?).
As long as you stay focused on Jesus and take His words, obey His words, and live according to His Word, then you shall not be deceived and the Day of the Lord shall not come as a surprise, but you shall stay in His peace and endure until the end.
The Jesus’ return and the end times
There are many more passages in the Bible about the end times and the return of Jesus. But for now, I only wanted to look at what Jesus said to His disciples, about the end times and what will happen before Jesus returns.
If you are curious about what signs shall take place before the return of Jesus, before His coming, I would like to advise you to read the Book of Matthew chapter 24.
Í Matthew 24 Jesús sagði:
- Take heed that no one deceives you
- You shall hear of wars and rumors of wars
- There shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes
- They shall deliver you up to be afflicted, and kill you: and you shall be hated of all nations for My name’s sake
- Many shall be deceived by false prophets
- The love shall wax cold
- The abomination of desolation
- The gospel of the Kingdom shall be preached in all the world
- False christs and false prophets shall arise and shall shew great signs and wonders
- There shall be darkness
- Every one shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory
- Learn from the fig tree
- No one knows the day and the hour
- The Day that the Son of Man shall return will be like the days of Noah
- Awake and watch
What must you do in the meantime?
Watch and be prepared to meet Him! Build yourself up in your most holy faith. Sanctify yourself in the Holy Ghost; walk in holiness, walk according to the Word of God in obedience to Him.
Encourage each other. When you see someone falling away from the faith or step into a trap of the devil and sin, warn and correct that person and call that person to repentance. Þegar þú tekur eftir, að einhver sé að sofna, pota viðkomandi þannig að (s)hann skal vaka og vaka. Fylgdu Jesú og gerðu verkin, sem Jesús hefur boðið þér að gera, sem eru:
Farið þér út í allan heiminn, og prédika fagnaðarerindið öllum skepnum. Sá sem trúir og lætur skírast mun hólpinn verða; en sá sem ekki trúir mun dæmdur verða. Og þessi tákn munu fylgja þeim sem trúa; Í Nafn mitt skulu þeir reka út djöfla; þeir skulu tala nýjum tungum; Þeir skulu taka upp höggorma; og ef þeir drekka eitthvað banvænt, það skal ekki skaða þá; þeir skulu leggja hendur á sjúka, ok skulu þeir batna (Mark 16:15-18)
