The image and understanding that many Christians have about being blessed and the blessings of God don’t correspond with how the Bible defines being blessed. When are you blessed according to the Bible?
When are you blessed according to the Bible?
There are many Scriptures in the Bible that tell us what it means to be blessed. Let’s look at some of the many Scriptures to get a clear picture of when you are blessed.
- You are blessed if you fear the Lord
O taste and see that the Lord is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in Him. O fear the Lord, ye His saints: for there is no want to them that fear Him (Thánh vịnh 34:8-9)
Blessed is the man that feareth the Lord, that delighteth greatly in his commandments (Thánh vịnh 112:1)
Blessed is every one that feareth the Lord; that walketh in his ways (Thánh vịnh 128:1)

- You are blessed when you trust in the Lord
Serve the Lord with fear, and rejoice with trembling. Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and ye perish from the way, when His wrath is kindled but a little Blessed are all they that put their trust in Him (Thánh vịnh 2:11-12)
Blessed is that man that maketh the Lord his trust, and respecteth not the proud, nor such as turn aside to lies (Psalm 40:4)
Blessed is the man whose strength is in Thee; in whose heart are the ways of them (Thánh vịnh 84:5)
O Lord of hosts, blessed is the man that trusteth in thee (Thánh vịnh 84:12)
Blessed is the man that trusteth in the Lord, and whose hope the Lord is (Jeremiah 17:7)

- You are blessed if you don’t walk in the counsel of the ungodly but delight in the law of the Lord
Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. - You are blessed when you are poor in spirit
Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven (Matthew 5:3)

- You are blessed when you hunger and thirst after righteousness
Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled (Matthew 5:6)

- You are blessed when you are merciful
Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy (Matthew 5:7).
- You are blessed when you are pure in heart
Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God (Matthew 5:8)

- You are blessed if you are a peacemaker

- You are blessed if you believe in Jesus Christ and repent of your sins and iniquities, become born again in Him, and walk in righteousness

- You are blessed if you keep the commandments of God, represent His will, and walk in His ways
Blessed are the undefiled in the way, who walk in the law of the Lord. Blessed are they that keep His testimonies, and that seek Him with the whole heart. They also do no iniquity: they walk in his ways (Thánh vịnh 119:1-3)

Blessed are ye, when men shall hate you, and when they shall separate you from their company, and shall reproach you, and cast out your name as evil, for the Son of man’s sake. - You are blessed when you endure temptation
Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love Him (James 1:12)

Blessed is the man whom Thou chastenest, O Lord, and teachest him out of Thy law; That Thou mayest give him rest from the days of adversity, until the pit be digged for the wicked (Thánh vịnh 94:12-13)

When you are born again in Christ and have become a new creation; Một người đàn ông mới, you are blessed in Christ. You did not earn it, nor did you accomplish it by your works. But you are blessed because of the love and grace of God and the redemptive work of Jesus Christ.
Through the love and grace of God, you are blessed with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ. You don’t have to pray for it, you have already received it. Tuy nhiên, you must know this and walk in it.
You are blessed, but staying blessed all depends on you and not on God.
When you stay in Christ and love the Lord your God you remain blessed
As long as you love the Lord with all your heart, linh hồn, tâm trí, and strength and fear Him and trust Him and keep His commandments and walk in His ways and be corrected and chastened by Him, so that you walk in His will, you shall remain blessed, according to the Bible.
You shall be blessed and loved by God. Tuy nhiên, you shall be hated and persecuted by the world. Why? Because of Christ and the Holy Spirit, Who lives inside of you and convicts the world of sin, of righteousness, và phán xét.
