When wisdom enters into your heart, and knowledge is pleasant unto thy soul; discretion shall preserve thee, understanding shall keep thee: To deliver thee from the way of the evil man, from the man that speaks forward things; Who leave the paths of uprightness, to walk in the way of darkness; Who rejoice to do evil, and delight in the forwardness of the wicked; Whose ways are crooked and they forward in their paths; To deliver thee from the strange woman, even from the stranger which flatters with her words; Which forsakes the guide of her youth, and forgets the covenant of her God.
For her house inclined unto death, and her paths unto the dead.None that go unto her return again, neither take they hold of the paths of life. That thou mayest walk in in the way of good men, and keep the paths of the righteous. For the upright shall dwell in the land, and the perfect shall remain in it.But the wicked shall be cut off from the earth, and the transgressors shall be rooted out of it (Példabeszédek 2:10-22)
When our heart is full of the word, we shall have understanding, and we shall have true knowledge.
The knowledge of the world is poison for the mind
The knowledge of the world is poison for your mind. That’s why the Word of God must have the overall authority in your mind.
If you do not walk according to the Word, you walk in darkness. The people, who won’t believe in Jesus and don’t accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour, will walk in darkness.
They live without God and they are happy and rejoice, whenever they can do evil (things that diametrically oppose the Word of God). They do evil, because they have an evil sinful nature, which dwells in the flesh. Ebből adódóan, they do not know any better, they don’t know the Truth.
How wisdom enters into your heart?
As soon as you repent and accept Jesus Christ, as your Saviour and Lord, and be born again and begin to read, study, and meditate on His Word, you will find out the Truth. When you meditate on the Word of God, day and night, you will not only find out the truth, but wisdom enters into your heart. Your heart will be full of the wisdom of God.
You will find out what is wrong and what is right, what is good and what is evil. When you walk according to what the Word says is right and good, you shall live in the Truth and walk in righteousness, after His will, in the light.
Works can’t make you holy and righteous. Only the redemptive work of Jesus Christ and His blood will make you acceptable and righteous for God.
But when you repent and become born again and are made righteous in Christ, you will have a new nature; Isten természete.
From that new nature, you will walk after the Spirit and do the works of God and follow after righteousness and you shall produce the fruit of the Spirit.
Keep the commandments of God. Be obedient and walk in them. Do not forget His covenant. Only then will you stay on the path of (örök) élet.
