Unto you, O men, I call; and my voice is to the sons of man. O ye simple, understand wisdom: ir, ye fools, be ye of an understanding heart. Hear; for I will speak of excellent things; and the opening of my lips shall be right things. For my mouth shall speak truth; and wickedness is an abomination to my lips (Patarlės 8:4-7)
The Word calls, unto the sons of man. He calls the simple and fools, and urges them to understand wisdom and to get an understanding heart. The Lord urges us to open, and study the Word of God. Because only in the Word, you will find wisdom. When you apply this wisdom into your life, you shall get understanding, and you shall have an understanding heart. When you have an understanding heart, you shall walk in wisdom.
The Word calls, but who wants to listen?
But you must be willing and listen to the Word, and don’t be reluctant. When you are willing to listen, then you shall receive the excellent things, that the Word speaks of, and you shall find out, what is right in the eyes of the Lord. You shall get to know Him, and you shall find out what pleases the Lord, and what not. And if you love Him, you shall do His will, instead of yours, and please Him.
The truth
The truth is written in the Word, and if you love Him, you shall accept the truth, and walk in it. Žodis sako, that the wickedness is an abomination to His lips, therefore you should restrain yourselves from wickedness. That means, that you shouldn’t live like the wicked; live like the world. God has set you apart from the world, and if you love Him and want to please Him, than you shall follow-up His advice. You shall do, what he has commanded you to do.
