These six things does the Lord hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him: A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood, An heart that devises wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief, A false witness that speaks lies, and he that sows discord among brethren (Proverbs 6:16-19)
What the Lord hates
The Lord is very clear in His Word about what pleases Him, and what things are an abomination to Him. Or to put it this way: what He likes and what He hates. Even in the New Testament we read about the things that Jesus hates.
As a Christian you cannot cover everything, like sin and iniquity by misusing the love and grace of God. You cannot use the grace of God to keep living in sin. Because God would never give His approval to any kind of sin. Sin causes separation.
When you are a real Christian; a born again believer, His Holy Spirit dwells in you. If you love Him, you shall do what pleases the Lord Jesus, the Father and the Holy Spirit. Because you don’t want to hurt them or grieve them. You don’t want to do anything that will cause a separation between Them and you.
Do you Love the Lord with all your heart?
When you really love Them, you shall do those things which pleases them. You shall live according to Their will, and not your own will.
